The Local Area
The school is located in the heart of Rilland, a small village, here in the southern province of Zeeland in the Netherlands. While walking along the dyke, you can gaze across the water and see the Antwerp Harbour, as the beautiful Belgian city is about 30 minutes from us. Travel north and you can visit beautiful cities such as Breda, Rotterdam, The Hague, Haarlem and Amsterdam, right here in the Netherlands.
We are the land of stroopwafels, tulips, gouda cheese, clogs and windmills. We have a love of water… as noted by the fact that 20% of our land is below sea level. Dutch is the mother tongue of people living here, but many folks speak English too.

Away from the city life, it gives an environment where you are able to set your focus on God, and turn off the distractions. A short wander brings you to the dyke where you can set your eyes on the beauty of the Western Schelde. If you are looking for something to do while here in the village, here are a few ideas

Bergen op Zoom is the closest city located to us, a mere 10 minute train ride away. The city has a downtown shopping district and also has some parks to chill in close by. If you have some free time, here are a few of our recommendations in and around the city:
Bagels n’ Beans is a chill place for a coffee with friends.
De Berk is a delicious spot to stop by when visiting De Heide for a beautiful wander in the forest.
